Graphic Design (Power tuh)..

I have been quite busy these few weeks. First of all, I got a task which I voluntary dedicate myself to it. I’m creating/designing a pamphlet for Rumah Anak Yatim/Miskin (RAYM) Taman Baiduri. Since the first 1000 copies of their current pamphlet are about to finish, it would be good to create a new one with a fresher look.

The designing process is not that complex but similar to any part time job, it really depends on you and your surrounding. It is quite challenging when you have 3 kids that are so eager about your laptop and what you’re doing. Once incident that I can recall, Hazwan used to stand both feet on my laptop when I had a time off to toilet. That’s not including when I could not type properly because I lost several letters on my keypad because of these kids. I have to admit, this is one happening family…hahahah

Then my wife had a course for 4 days in KL. I have to be a house daddy during those 4 days. We had KFC for our dinner everyday when mommy is not around. Hahahha..the kids loved it.

Although this week also we still have something to do, I finally complete (80% complete) the pamphlet design. The design will be as it is now only a few details here and there. I have submitted the pamphlet to the RAYM owner and asked him to double check the content. Who knows that my content might be mislead, it’s better to confirm everything first. Then, the front picture of the house itself. Then the….well…a bit here and there.

Once complete, I plan to collect some contribution from my frenz so that I can proceed to printing. 1000 or 2000 copies perhaps. It wouldn’t cost much if we can share, I don’t think it can cost you a fortune. Anyway, still waiting En. Shukry to provide me with the feedback.
